Torrey Lake Hunting Lodge is located 10.5 miles north of Platte, South Dakota, on highway 45. Approximately 130 miles from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Sioux Falls hosts the largest airport in the region and is serviced by Delta, United, Northwest Airlines and Allegiant Air. Suggested airports to consider investigating prior to arriving for those piloting their own private planes include Sioux Falls, Chamberlain, Mitchell, and Platte.
Average temperatures for September and October range from the lows in the 40s to the highs in the 80s. It is always suggested to bring warm clothing as temperatures drop considerably from November to March. South Dakota is known as the land of "Infinite Variety." You will not be disappointed by the various weather conditions it offers. Be prepared in late fall months for crisp to cold days. The hunting action will warm you up throughout the day, and plenty of extra clothing is available for usage if you forget something!
